Message duplication from Android phone to Iphone

My boss has an android phone and sends messages every day. Recently I have been getting the same message from both of her phone numbers duplicating the content. I have deleted her contact completely and the messages are still coming through from both of her phone numbers. Is there a "send from this number" setting on her android to keep this from happening?
