Did Logic Pro change how guitar/bass instrument tracks work?

I was recently working on a new project and created a new guitar instrument track for recording my acoustic guitar, like I have done in the past. I recorded the track and everything worked just fine. Then, when I play back the track, I can't hear it. Which is strange. The thing I noticed is, I had the turn off the "I" in the track header to hear the track - which took me a little while to figure out . I've never had to do this before. I'm assuming this is a bug with the current release of Logic (11.1.2)?

Has anyone else experienced this?
