whatsapp web notifications not working in iPhone

I logged in to WhatsApp web on my iPhone but can’t get notifications for new messages, only can get notifications after opening it, is it normal noting that iPhone updated to latest version and I enabled notifications for safari and WhatsApp web too.

Why am I not receiving WhatsApp notifications on my iPhone? Hi, I recently bought an iphone 15 pro, running on sw. 17.5.1. I do not get notifications when I get a message in whatsapp since 2-3 weeks. There is a badge on the icon but nothing in the notifications. How can I solve it? I made the search already, turn on/off notifications in whatsapp, didn't solve. Reset the notification settings in whatsapp, didn't solve problem + it brought more problems, now all the notification settings in, facebook, linkedin and instagram has also reset. WhatsApp notifications not working after iOS 17.4 Update I updated my iPhone 15pro today to iOS 17.4 and it suddenly stopped showing my WhatsApp notifications. I can see I have new text messages from the red bubble, but it isn’t notifying me. I tried resetting the WhatsApp notifications, and also the ones directly from the phone’s settings, but nothing is working. Does anyone know what to do? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Is it WhatsApp issue or related to IPhone? As in windows it works fine.

Issues with third-party apps should be directed to the developer. Contact WhatsApp.

Hi, I contacted WhatsApp regards and they advised me since the issue related to safari so the issue might be related to IOS.

not sure if really safari supports desktop notifications for iPhone or not
