Why is everyone saying TikTok is back? but we are unable to download TikTok app!!??…. Is this going to be fixed? Are we truly getting TikTok back? And when do we think that we are going to be able to see TikTok app back on the App Store?

The law that placed fines on both Apple and Google for allowing downloads has NOT been repealed by Congress. The law also requires ByteDance to divest to a US company and the days are counting down for that to happen. There are about 63 days left and it has not happened yet and there is no guarantee that it will. The crew at the App Store have no idea if that will happen either.
Since the fines have been placed on downloads, all you can do for now is access TikTok online or if you have the app before the fines were put in place. You might not have read the statement from Apple that Dah-veed provided that explains it. The same is true for Google too, as it is not able to be downloaded on the Google Play Store either.
There is nothing for Apple to fix or anything for the App Store crew to find out. If you have anymore questions on the law, contact your Congressional Representatives to see how they voted. They are the ones that made the law and the Supreme Court upheld it.

Sorry, but the comment you are referring to was a ridicules statement. They were trying to be funny and did not like the fact that no one knows when or if TikTok will be back. There are not people sitting around at an App Store ready to take your call about when they are going to be putting TikTok back to be downloaded.
I think everything else here has been made very clear, other than the nonsensical post you were referring to. I guess you will find one of those every now and then. I thought I addressed the comment previously, but apparently it did not stick.

Getting “a hold of the App Store” will accomplish absolutely nothing. The issue rests with the government of the United States of America. Contact your elected representatives.
