How to mirror iPhone screen to PC/Windows

Hello,

I want to screen mirror my iPhone video into my dell laptop how can I do that. I tried screen mirroring option but I never get my laptop name to select. Also, on searching on google it says I need to use the third party apps. Please if anyone knows the trick. Thanks!

Are you talking about AirPlay, or iPhone Mirroring?

AirPlay was originally designed to stream audio and video from an iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV set-top box. You can buy third-party applications for Macs and PCs to let them act as "AirPlay Receivers". (Many recent Macs have the ability to serve as AirPlay Receivers built in, and don't need the aid of third-party applications.)

One example of such a third-party application would be AirServer Universal for PC . This is a "for instance", not an endorsement. I'm not familiar with all of the "AirPlay for Windows" applications that exist, or how they compare to each other.

iPhone Mirroring is pretty much an "iPhone, Mac"-only thing.
