file or document types

While using the search feature I came across many files that under the heading "Kind" are "CSS style sheet"

when opening one, it's almost like written code but seems to be related to web sites and information that I had previously opened.


I don't know how they were created, and I wonder if deleting them would cause any issues??

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are specific styling code for web pages (HTML) and are not relevant to Apple's Pages application. It is not uncommon for web pages to reference these external CSS files, and may disrupt the styling of an associated web page if deleted.


These CSS files are hardly worth the effort to delete as their file size is typically quite small and would yield very little storage recovery.
