UK wifi mesh router that works with HomeKit

I currently use BT Whole Home (4 Mesh Routers) and they work very well with HomeKit - very little disconnections and adding smart plugs, bulbs etc. works pretty well (even the ones on 2.4Ghz only!).

However it’s almost 10 years old and on wifi 5, I’m wanting to update it to at least wifi 6E - possibly 7.

The main requirement: it has to play nicely with HomeKit.

I tried Linksys Velop 6E and although definitely faster, HomeKit cameras and hubs kept disconnecting, especially overnight when really needed to work correctly. Plus adding plugs, bulbs etc. became almost impossible. Just a theory but I suspect the problem was that I couldn’t “force” the iPhone to be on 2.4Ghz to match the item being added.

Basically I want the reliability of my current but old BT Whole Home system but with better speed.

Our house isn't very big but it's tall and over 4 floors - so the wifi needs to have sufficient range to cover them all.

Any recommendations gratefully received!
