How do I enable Family Sharing on an iPod Classic 80GB

I have an iPod Classic 6th Gen that I would like to put some movies on, however after downloading them from iTunes on Windows from the Family Purchases tab, I cannot import them on my iPod. I am met with an error message that reads, “Some of the files in the iTunes Library were not copied to the iPod because this iPod does not support Family Sharing.”

You can't, not with an old iPod classic. That device long predates any of the features that have come with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. Nor can you put movies on that iPod that you purchased from the iTunes Store. Again, your iPod long predates the existence of movie purchases from Apple.

If you want to have movies on a portable device now, you'll need an iPhone or iPad, or a laptop computer.

Regards.
