Did you make sure that no Focus mode is active and the Mute switch on your iPhone is not enabled and the loudness for the ringtone is set to maximum?
You can press the Volume Up button on the side of the iPhone to control the volume.
Also check the WatchApp on your iPhone: Settings/Phone/ -> Mirror my iPhone -> enabled and Ringtone -> Sound -> enabled.
