Autocorrect PROBLEM in the latest iOS - autocorrecting correct words
APPLE: don't remove unless you can help me. Same issue is found here but I can't add to the thread:
AutoCorrect changes correct word - Apple Community
The reason I'm upset is that I just had my question removed from the community by Apple because "either feedback or a feature request that was not constructive."
I was neither giving feedback or a feature request - I was describing a problem that feels like it was rolled out in the last update.
So I'm ASKING if in the most recent iOS update WHY is the autocorrect overly sensitive and correcting words that are already correct.
Since the last update (to iOS 18/iPhone 15 plus) it seems that autocorrect wants to correct everything.
If I type "Hello" it will change it to He'll.
If I type "Hi" It changes it to Oh.
Type "How" changes to Now and I have no other words in the sentence.
Type Wed (starting to type Wednesday) changes it to we'd.
This just started happening with the last iOS update. I never had it this sensitive.
I'm guessing with this type of "autocorrect" I should just shut it off at this point.
Is there a way to stop this being so sensitive or is there another place I can report this issue to at Apple because whomever watches this forum keeps removing my question.
Thank you.
