Deleting and resyncing Playlist from iPhone to Mac mini music library

I have an iPhone13 Pro (18.1.1). I want to delete a particular playlist from the iPhone and then resync with a revised/new playlist that's on my Music library on my MacMini. I threw a Hail Mary and successfullly did this a few months ago.....and now for the life of me I can't recall what I did. It seeemed so intuitive but now I am unsure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated so I don't irreperably screw thsi up.
