Apple watch notifies me I can send my location via satellite

When hiking I receive multiple notifications on my Apple watch 10 that I can share my location vis satellite. I know I can do this and would like to turn off receiving these messages multiple times when out hiking. In the winter when all bundled up in very cold temperatures it becomes a pain to access my watch to see the same message multiple times. Any help appreciated.

That would be coming from your iPhone. I don't know of a specific notification setting that would control this, but you can try turning off notifications for Messages and/or Phone entirely, either for the Watch itself via the Watch app or on the iPhone via its notifications settings, and see if that gets rid of that notice.

Someone else here may know of a setting I've missed.
