After I change one occurrence in a series, please stop asking if I want to SAVE FOR THIS EVENT ONLY OR FOR FUTURE EVENTS, every time I have to change it again. 😩

I am using an iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18.2.1; but I noticed this happening with the previous update. This happens with all recurring events on my calendar; only on my iPhone, not on my MacBook Pro.

When I set up a recurring series, I often need to change one occurrence in the series, sometimes multiple times.

Typically, when I drag and drop the event to the new time/day, I get the prompt to “Save for this event only” or “Save for future events.” So I choose the former; then if I have to change it again, I don’t get the prompt, bc it’s already marked as a one-off (the icon even changes to the “recurring-but-crossed-out arrow” thingy).

But since a couple updates ago, I get that prompt EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So I have to KEEP tapping “Save for this event only,” whenever I move the occurrence around my schedule.

Why do I keep getting asked if I want to save “for this event only” or “for future events” with a one-off occurrence in the series? I’m going mad! 🤪
