The phone keeps connecting and disconnecting from the charger. I am using the original cable that came with the phone and Apple 35w adapter. Found that when I restart the phone while the charger is plugged in it starts charging normally again but when I unplug and plug the charger the issue is back…

Try a different wall outlet and a different cable
I’ve tried that, different adapter, different cable, different wall outlet. I’ve even Reset all settings of the phone from the settings but no success. Only restart helps until the next charge.
I’ve sorted the issue. It was the 35w adapter not working properly with the 16 Pro Max. Just bought 20w adapter and the phone is charging fine. I have 2 friends with 15 Pro Max and the 35w adapter is working properly for them. Good luck!
