New Macbook Air M3 freezing

I recently purchased a MacBook Air M3 and there are multiple occasions where it just freezes up even with Safari and PDF are the only applications that are open. Even trying to do a force quit is ineffective as it gets frozen up as well.


I do a hard restart until it gets functional again.


I brought the unit to the Apple Store for assessment and repair. Assessment shows that there is no hardware problem so what they do only is a reinstallation of MacOS but the problem still persists.


Looking at the specs:

MacBook Air

M3, 2024

OS: Sequoia 15.2

Memory: 84 of 495 used.


Hope somebody can help.

The Apple Genius Bar did an hardware assessment of the computer and found no hardware issues ?


Is that correct ?


You receive the computer back from them and they reinstalled the operating system ?


Is that also correct ?


What did you do with the computer after you receive it back, Software wise ?

IN TERMS OF THE SOFTWARE, WHEN IT WAS ALREADY UPDATED TO THE LATEST VERSION, I LEFT IT AS IS. I PLACED BACK OTHER APPS AND FILES FROM A TIME MACHINE, AND AT FIRST IT WILL WORK OUT FINE, UNTIL THE FREEZING WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.

To which a suggestion was supplied
