Contact photo editing redirects to Home Screen page on iPhone 15 Pro

When I go to the contact select edit then select edit under the photo it takes me to the customize Home Screen page. This is in iPhone 15 pro with latest iOS update.

contact photo shows up instead of key photo in photos app, since ios 17 Ever since iOS update 17 when I scroll up to look at the metadata as well who’s in the photo it shows the contact photo instead of the key photo. I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this. Is there even an option to switch between the two or to just turn off the contact photo option and have only the key photo from the app show up when looking at who’s in the photo?

iOS 17.1.1 Contact Page Please go back to how the contact pages were previously. I don’t wish to add a photo for every contact and scroll down the page to find information. Basic and most used information appeared clearly on opening a contact. Now there is scrolling involved. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should change things when the previous system was working adequately without gimmicks.

how to remove contact poster entirely Hi, i just updated to iOS 17 and now my contacts all have a contact poster, they come up with a weird grey screen when I call someone. How do I remove this entirely I don’t want a contact poster for any of my contacts I just want the standard call screen.

From what you are describing this is not the customize home screen page, it looks like it but its not.

This is where you would edit the visuals of contacts.
