Unauthorized $44.99 charge for non-refundable Instagram test subscription

If you were charged via apple you should be able to get a refund. If you go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ and select request a refund, you should able to get your money back. You get a drop-down menu of reasons in which you can select ‘I did not mean to buy this’ but I have ALWAYS gotten my money back with the ‘Right of Withdrawal’ clause since it is a law. But I cannot speak to wether this is valid in other countries too…

If you were charged by Apple, you did authorize a subscription. See If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

If you are charged by the third party, contact them.

This not an Apple charge, this is a scam from a fake company using social media and pretending to be another legitimate company. The same thing happened recently to me. Somehow they have my Apple Pay information and are taking unauthorized payments. The legitimate company's "contact us" link doesn't work and no help from Apple so far. Will try calling the legitimate company on the next business day, hoping a refund and solution can be found.
