Issue with Siri Defaulting to the Wrong Device

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with how Siri decides which device to respond to when multiple Apple products are nearby. For example, I’ll have my headphones connected only to my Mac and be listening to music, while my iPhone is on the desk charging. If I ask Siri to play the next song, it defaults to my iPhone. My phone will start playing music—even though I’m actively using my Mac—and Apple Music isn’t even open on the phone, nor are my headphones connected to it.

This is quite frustrating, as it happens consistently whenever I try to ask Siri something.

Most headphones have a way to call up your digital assistant. Do your headphones have a way to do so? I'm afraid when you have multiple devices all within range of your voice, what you're experiencing can happen. Siri isn't aware you're wearing headphones. And the same thing happens in my home, where we have two iPhones, two iPads, two Apple Watches and one MacBook Pro all within hearing range. But when I'm wearing headphones, I use the feature built into them to speak to Siri.
