Logic board died in MacBook Air M2

TWO years into owning this product the logic board dies. $700 to replace! Seems like a known issue. What a waste of money.

Macbook pro 16" 2019 logic board failure I have purchased Macbook pro 16" 2019 model in 2020. logic board has failed 3 times in 3 years. First time was covered under warranty. Second time it was out of pocket and now apple is expecting me to pay again for replacement. 3 times logic board failure in 3 years is a serious issue. I just use MS office and browse for couple of hours on this laptop. It gets heat within no time even if it is idle. This expensive 2019 model is a failed product. Is anyone else with the same model having logic board issue? I can purchase a new laptop instead of paying heft amount to replace logic board. Apples response to me is since they have stopped this model, I have to repair it again and if it fails for the 4th time they will think about alternate. What a joke. Don't they realize 3 times logic board failure in 3 years is a serious issue? This product has to be recalled. Have lost faith in apple. RIP Macbook pro 16" 2019 model. All those who are having this model good luck. If I were you, I wouldn't waste a penny on this product.

M1 Mac Pro died after just 1 year I bought my Macbook Pro M1 with my stimulus check after owning it for just over a year after my warranty ran out the computer stopped turnning on. I brought it to an Apple store and they checked the ports and condition all checked out fine. They told me the logic board probably failed. Over $700 dollars out of pocket to repair. I'm on disability and cannot afford to fix this Mac or buy a new one. So I'm now stuck with a $1600 paper weight. 👏 Thanks a bunch Apple I won't ever buy another Apple product after this. Very disappointed in Apple's quality and longevity of their products now. Is there anything I can do?

Mine has not died.

What size was it? 13 inch or 15 inch?

How much memory? 8GB 16BG or 24GB

How much SSD? 256, 512, 1gb, 2GB

I am curious as to how much heat it was generating.

Any liquid damage?

Any drop damage?

How was it diagnosed with a dead logic board? Apple store?

There is a company in New York that can service logic boards instead of replacement.

But it may depend upon what on the logic board has failed whether that would be worth it or not.

If the processor is gone, I would think logic board replacement is better.

If a less expensive part has gone bad, e.g., voltage regulator for power supply, that may be worth having them repair it.

13in 8gb 256 - really didn’t use heavily condition was almost brand new. No damage at all.
