If money is no object, then the Apple Studio Display Buy Apple Studio Display - Apple. Besides having gorgeous resolutions, appearance etc., the Studio Display might even be inspiring for your next crime novel, especially if you pay cash and lug 14 the pound monster home all by yourself. I have imagined doing both and it never failed to feel like daylight robbery and assault at the same time. Then, if you need to lug it back for service, viola, you have yourself a repeat crime and a sequel!
Otherwise the Dells https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/computer-monitors/ar/8605/4k-resolution-and-up?appliedRefinements=46667,24271 should do. I have three of them with a fourth in the basement awaiting disposal, all good.
Thanks for your help and humour, I will measure my wheelchair and see if I can manage, only joking thankfully. PW
I am a graphic artist and writer of crime novels, much of the content will be photographic reference, which I take myself. It is important to have high quality images viewable on the screen as my eyes are unfortunately not as good as they used to be.
I suppose the other thing is being used to a 27 inch screen, suggestions for something similar would be good.

No, unfortunately. Use a regular monitor, preferably with HDMI.
Thanks for your reply, sadly it is not unexpected. Is it possible you could give guidance on what monitor I am looking for?
Best wishes

Depends on your budget and what you plan using it for…over to you.
👍😉
