I would like to find out how to set the label printer to always be 4x6. Every time I go to print a label for shipping, I have to change the paper size from 8.5x11 to 4x6. How do I set that?

Now that we know that this is specifically a label printer, I recommend that you will get the best support by dealing directly with the printer's support people. They should have your answer.
if it's the default settings that the brand of label printer comes with then you have to change it, or you have to get them to change the default settings of the printers they ship to you
I also have this issue. No default for 4x6 in macbook. keeps thinking its printing on 11x8.5 no matter what youtube or google advice I try. Default 4x6 custom, still prints on 8x11
