Fit to page iPhone printing

Hey, so I’ve been selling some bits online and the shipping labels are produced by the company, when I go to print them from the iPhone it’s defaulted printer settings is ‘fit to page’ so it comes out as a full a4 shipping label which won’t scan.

I’ve tried reducing paper size but then printer moans it’s not got right paper.

if I screenshot and print it’s still fit to page!

do I need an app to reduce the size or is there a setting? I can’t find anything,

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 18

Hi mate, this is just standard how to print from iPhone- I don’t see anything you have done differently from what i would normally do if thats the case, it’s not what i am after.

What im trying to do is reduce the size of the photo on the page. In your example, the photo is being printed to full page size - as evidenced in 4-11 the print preview. It shows its going to cover the full page. How do I get this to print on only half the page, or 1/4 of the page.

It appears no matter the photo, the default setting is fit to page - thinking old school printing terms here. I’m trying to change this so it does not cover the full page without reducing the size of the paper in the printer.

See the pic below which is self-explanatory (iPhone 12 Pro ). If this does not work, restart printer or refer to the Printer Manual.
