Mouse keeps freezing in Sequoia 15.1.1

The mouse cursor / scrolling, freezes for a second continuously until restart. I have noticed that the keyboard lags and falls behind when typing also.

What causes Keyboard/trackpad freezing on my MacBook Air? I have a MacBook Air that was bought in 2022. Recently, and frequently, the keyboard and track pad freeze/ track pad will not depress.
