Password Issues with Macbook pro M4
I set up my new Macbook Pro M4 with a Password - only the wrong one for me
I was having to enter this password so many times in setting up my new mac, I decided to re-set it to the one I wanted. That proved impossible because:
Of course they don't match - they are not supposed to.
So it looks as if there is a program bug in the Mew Macbook pro M4 operating system (macOS Sequoia) V 15.2 (24C101).
So I tried a workaround and deleted my password altogether. SO there is just no password for this new Mac npw. Great. That speeded up my setting it up.
Now I want to do exactly what I wanted to do in the first place - create a password for the new Mac, but this time with the password I actually want.
And of course I hit exactly the same issue (remember there isn't a password for the machine, so I can leave the Old password field blank)›. When I do that and enter the new password I get this:
The same issue - and before anyone asks - if I enter the original password (the one I deleted) of course I get the error that The password is incorrect.
So can someone verify this is a programming bug in Sequoa? And if so, verify that there is no way to to fix it until Apple gets aroung to fixing the code?
Thanks Guys
