AirPods Pro 2 won't stay in my ears

Evidently the silicone ear tip is too slippery to stay in place. Apple’s accessibility advisor and o the comments seem to indicate about 10% of users cannot achieve a good seal/fit and the AirPod spontaneously drops out. I fear that it/they will drop into the sink,toilet, heating duct,on the floor or be lost in the grass. Mine will only stay in place for a few minutes. Apple doesn’t have a solution but finally indicated that there might be third party attempts to resolve the problem. Of course, Apple couldn’t/wouldn’t give any hints as to how find such products. I installed the hearing aid software and find the quality of sound assistance to be far superior to my $$$ hearing aids but unfortunately the won’t stay placed in my ears more than several minutes if I move around.

Return them for a refund.

If you are out of the return period and want to take a chance that third party foam tips will work better, I suggest comply brand. It’s what I personally use.

Thanks for your comments. I tried the Comply 3 size set today and unfortunately they also dropped out of place. Try another brand tomorrow.

I am also still having the same problem even with the additional XS size they included in the AirPods Pro 2. About the only thing that works for me is taping with first aid tape across my ear once the pods are in place. They still don’t feel secure or maintain a good seal but I know with the tape they will at least not fall right out into a puddle or worse.

Thanks for message. I purchased FoamMasters.com (3 size set). They work pretty well but they do start to slip after continuous use. I use the Hearing Aid software and find the adaptability through the iPhone app able to produce far superior clarity in comparison to the expensive professional Hearing Aids I also use. Additional comments to follow

I also have found the Earphone Anti-Lost Lanyard by Multaich (model:MUT-APS 101 useful. The AirPods Pro 2 provides a charge for about 6 hours use so I use the especially when there are conversations that are difficult to follow like at group meals/meetings or certain video conferences or tv programs.
