Apple Intelligence question for14" MacBook Pro M4

I am a first time user of a Mac and I am catching on with a new system. I purchased the laptop in December 2024. My question is I want to turn on Apple Intelligence and see if I can benefit from AI. However if I want to turn off AI will there be any leftover AI stuff on the computer that I can't remove? I would be going into Apple Intelligence with an open mind but not sure with my very limited experience with the Mac if AI will cause me problems. I come from over 30 years of Windows use and have been retired for 6 years.
