New iPhone 16 no mobile data
This is very frustrating. I had a iPhone 14 with cricket.I found that I lost cellular data connection. The symptom is very tricky. WiFi, phone call and text all works fine, except cellular data. I tried to turn off/on the phone, turn on/off the airplane mode, reset the settings of network. Everything had worked, but only for a min to 10min.
I went to Apple Store to diagnose, found nothing wrong, hardware or software. I update to the newest iOS, still nothing fixed the issue. Only get data connection back for a short period time every time restart the phone.
Then I turned to Cricket, swap a new eSIM card, the same thing happened. Data connection resumed and lost after about half hour.
Had a third party phone repair store scanned it, still found nothing.
So, after all I can think of, I decided to get a new phone. Bought a new 16 right out of Apple Store in person, had it set up in the store last night.
This morning, the cellular connection is GONE again!
Some side note, there is always signal bar shown on my phone. And there is no service outage in the area.
