Multi purpose store visit

If I want to trade in old phone and tablet, buy new ones and set them up with old data, what type of appointment do I schedule at Apple Store?

iPhone SE, iOS 18

We are not Apple so can only go from our own experiences. If you feel you must have an appointment, I would select "Shopping" based on what you describe.

That said, due to time-of-year and staffing issues, individual stores can vary in what services are available. I would check with Apple regarding the capabilities of the specific store you wish to visit.

You don't need any appointment to trade in and buy phones or iPads. If you want them to help you transfer your data (though that's easy to do yourself), be sure to go at a time when your local store isn't busy.

Personally, I always buy my devices online with In Store Pickup. I chose the pickup time that I want. But as my local store is very busy, I generally still have to wait.
