Studio Display color and contrast

Hi everyone. I recently purchased a Studio Display and notice the the contrast is a little too strong and the colors too saturated compared to all my other monitors (i.e Wacom cintiq, ipad pro, imac). I'm sure I can calibrate with a device to get the color dialed in, but the contrast is the bigger problem. I've lost all the subtle tonal variations. If I switch the display preset to Internet and Web (srgb), or Photography (P3-D65), I get the accurate contrast level back, but then I lose all brightness controls. Please help! Is there any way to adjust the contrast in the Apple Display preset?!
