Garageband begins to open then..doesn't.

Sequoia 15.2

I was plaging in Garageband when it quit. I restarted it, then restarted my Mac but the same results; it starts to open, then doesn't. I can see the Menu in the top bar. It even offers to open recent projects, but the interface is not visible on my screen. When I press Shift, Option, Escape I can see that it is not responding.

I downloaded and installed the latest Sequoia 15.2 but it's the same.

Please advise,

I opened Garageband in a new account and it works!

Considering that I cannot open Garageband, how would you suggest I fix it in my regular account?
