Archiving iMessage content from a single contact on iPhone

I have a friend who passed away and I realized I have a couple years of iMessage content that I'd like to archive to make sure I have it saved. Is there a way to archive iMessage content from just one single contact? Or do I have to back up / archive all of the iMessage content from all users to achieve this?

Sorry for your loss. I'm afraid there's no way to do this for just one contact.

You could, however, save all the messages as a PDF with a tool like iMazing.
