I live in the United Kingdom and I like to use Apple Intelligence. I bought the new iPhone 16 and the new iPad before the Apple Intelligence was available.
i have friends in the UK that have just bought the iPhone and with the same settings (UK and English United Kingdom) can use Apple Intelligence.
In the screenshot above you have my settings. Although everything is set, I still can’t use this service. How can I enable it?

Based on your screenshot, it appears you may not be updated to iOS 18.2? It was 18.2, which brought support to UK English. In previous versions, US English was supported.
How can I activate Apple Intelligence?
