Close and delete a video in QuickTime Player without being challenged to save

I often record short videos of myself in QuickTime Player, playing pieces on guitar that are only relevant to me once, and I do not save them. It's very simple to initiate a new recording, with command-option-n, and space bar to start. However, deleting this recording is far more complicated. I have to press command-w, then tab 4x and then enter.

I do not want to be challenged to save recordings; if I have pressed command-w, then I have already committed to deleting the video. I want to skip all the steps after command-w, but I can't find any settings to make it work like this.

Is there another keypress that closes a video without being challenged to save? What is it?

It goes without saying, but this must involve only the keyboard - no mouse or trackpad.

Update:

I just discovered that once the "Do you want to keep...?" save window shows up, command-backspace closes it without saving. This is helpful, however I would like both of the steps, command-w & command-backspace, to be combined into a single simple keypress combination, like command-option-w, or something similar.

In MacOS settings, I only have the option of modifying the key combination of existing menu bar items, which is not the problem - the problem is the behavior of the menu bar item after activating it.

To be clear: I want to combine the functions of pressing command-w, followed by command-backspace, into a single command, to bypass the save dialog.
