Up to now Safari Reader View let you look at webpages without all annoying adverts and sidebars. You could email the webpage to someone else.
Now with iOS 18 the Reader View no longer does this (renamed to “Hide Distracting Items”). Why this regressive step? Or do we need to use a non-Safari browser to get this functionality?

The Safari Reader is still there. Tap the icon to the left of the search bar to open the pop-up menu nd you'll find the "Sho Reader" button at the bottom of the pop-up.

Thanks, I didn’t see the “Show Reader” earlier in. However, it was easier in previous versions of Safari where the aA button took you directly to reader in one click.
