Locked Apple account for specific songs on iTunes

Cleaning my music db, I encountered one, then a second songs I purchased on Apple iTunes store that asked my password to allow me to play them. After inputting my password that worked to log into iTunes, I get the error message "This Apple account has been locked for security reasons. Visit iForgot to reset your account."


After resetting password twice, I still am locked out of these songs. What am I supposed to do? Other songs purchased with the same account are working fine.

I cannot help with the account locking, but any request to reauthorize content that has already been downloaded to your computer may indicate corruption with that download. In such cases it is best to back up the file you have, use the right-click remove download option or otherwise delete the track from your library, then redownload from your purchase history.
