Additionally on my Windows laptop when trying to use iCloud Password extension in either Edge or Chrome I get request to install Windows Hello and doesn't allow for other means of authentication were for example any other biometric or hardware tokens such as yubikeys would be a welcome way for additional authentication.
While I get that iCloud Password works fine if you're 100% using Apple components (both hw and sw) it's not always the reality including the awkward way how the iCloud extension has been implemented in Firefox and Chrome were you're asked to open the iCP and manually create an entry and perform copy and paste back and forth to store away and lift the password over to the browser. Under certain circumstances one is forced to use other browser than Safari which is either due to that page renders badly or if it's internal site which doesn't use proper public certificates (using self-signed) then Safari is a no go. Quite often webgui for hardware tend not to work with Safari.
So there are room for several improvements for iCP which would be great to get in place. Anyone have any insight of what direction iCP is going or what improvements one could expect?
