Unable to find my disappeared video took on 18 December

Video tooked in 18 december disappeared from phone its not in recently deleted folders and i cant find them

Lost Videos on 18.1.1 on my 16 Pro Max - 512 GB I lost several videos on 18.1.1. It did not happen during the 18.1.1 upgrade. I did the 18.1.1 upgrade several days ago. I believe they were lost when I started uploading some of my videos to a Facebook Messenger family share. I had viewed some of the videos previous to sharing. Then I went back to look at them again on my iPhone, not my share, and they were gone. They are not on the share and they are not on my iPhone and they are not in my recently deleted. I didn't lose one or two I lost several. I have 18.2 ready to update and I am hesitant to do it because I still have hope of somehow finding my lost videos. Any ideas to recover would be appreciated.

Clips videos lost We suddenly had Clips videos disappear. The phone didn't have enough storage so Clips wouldn't let us send the videos. But once we had cleared the storage, the videos disappeared. We had spent a lot of time on these and were lost. We finally found a solution. See below for how to recover lost Clips videos: Go to Settings > General >iPhone Storage Scroll until you get to the Clips app, click on Clips app Select Offload App (DO NOT SELECT DELETE APP) Once that is done, then download the app again from the App Store Then the lost videos appeared again We had not seen any solutions on the internet or in the communities/support so hopefully this helps somebody.

If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app on a mobile device, read this support article --> If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app - Apple Support

Things to do:

- Check your Recently Deleted folder - Go to Photos > Albums, and tap Recently Deleted in the Utilities section. If you emptied the items from this folder they cannot be recovered. They are truly permanently deleted.

- Make sure that iCloud Photos is turned on

- Sign in with the same Apple ID

- Unhide your photos
