Unable to open Visual Intelligence on my iPhone 16

Same issue here. Visual intelligence won’t open when holding the camera control button. Just the rainbow animation. I’ve rebooted phone, reinstalled software, but nothing fixes it

For me to get Visual Intelligence on my iPhone, I press and hold the camera capture button past the Siri Glow, until the camera opens. Are you holding the Camera Capture button long enough?

No, nothing wrong. Seems you only need to point the camera at something you want to know more about,

so the visual intelligence can work with the things around you.

Eg: says:

"You can use visual intelligence with Camera Control to:

I have the same problem, too, I’ll press and hold the camera button, but it just plays that little rainbow animation on the side, but it does nothing and once I release it open to the camera app, so I don’t really understand when people say oh just point out something and I’ll tell you, how can I do that when it’s not opening???

I think after you point the camera, and press and hold, you may also need to tap the camera control.
