Is there a way to delete old game center data?

I play cookie run oven break and I’m about to switch phones, the faq for CR says to link to game center to save my data and be able to switch devices, but when I do that it pulls up an old save from an older phone I don’t have anymore, and if I try to link it my current save will be deleted, is there a way to delete the old save?

To remove all of your game's data, try the following:

Tap on Settings > Apple ID Profile > iCloud.
Tap on Manage Storage.
Look for the game in the list of apps that iCloud backs up data for and tap it.
Select Delete Data. Note: This will delete all data for this game from all Apple ID connected devices.
