Notifications on iPhone when wearing Apple Watch

PLEASE APPLE….LET US HAVE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE SOUNDS ON iPHONE WHEN WEARING THE APPLE WATCH. This is the one feature I despise on the watch.

when I have my phone connected to Apple car play with a cord I don’t get the notifications through the truck either so I’m assuming it’s connected as well

i don’t need the sounds on the Watch but would like to read and reply on the watch for convenience but at this point thinking it’s more annoying and might just use the watch on the weekends but that’s a waste
