Several times after using the camera, the green dot at the top of the screen remains next to the notch. This has been the case since the 18.2 iOS update. I have to reopen the camera app unnecessarily to close it again. After that it just disappears.

I'm not that stupid. I opened it. There's the camera app. I used a camera and that's why it's there. It's that simple. But after closing it, the green dot remains. It disappears when I open the camera again and close it. What's not to understand?
Open Control Center, and at the top, you'll see the icon for the camera or microphone and which app was using it most recently.
