I have an upgraded phone and have kept my old number. However when I call people a new number comes up on their phone. They can however ring me on my original number. How do I get rid of this new number. I’ve had my phone for about 3 weeks now

Remove the SIM or eSIM from the device.
Go to Settings. · Tap Mobile Data. Then: If you have a single plan, tap Delete eSIM. If you have multiple plans, tap the plan you want to erase.
