Homepod “Sorry there was a problem with Apple Music” Issue

When I ask my Homepod (mini or Homepod) to “play Eye of the Untold Her” the Homepod responds with “now playing Eye of the Untold Her by Lindsey Stirling (so I know if finds the song in my library) and then immediately says “sorry there was a problem with Apple Music”. Nothing plays.

If I ask the Homepod to play music from my Library shuffled, my music plays. I cannot ask to play a particular song or artist from my Library. I have four Homepods and playing songs or artists from my Library has worked for years….but no longer. This has been going on for at least two months.

I’ve tried resetting the homepod, logging out and back in to Apple Music on my iPhone, resetting my AppleTV (because someone with a similar issue was using ATV with Homepod as speakers and that fixed their issue…did not for me and I don’t use Homepod as my ATV speaker anyway).

All software on all Homepods is up to date as of today and my iPhone is up to date as well.

Any ideas?

HomePod mini, 18
