Final Cut Pro error -50: renderVideoFrame failed

Hi

I hope you're well and wondered if you could help me, please.

I've been using Final Cut Pro for months, years, without issue, but this recent video is driving me crazy and keeps crashing FCP, or even my laptop (forcing a restart) when trying to export my latest video.

I've put the crash log below, can anyone tell me what the issue video/frame is by any chance? I've resent all the clips again from my phone to my MacBook and the issue still remains. I've deleted render files etc before and still no luck.

I can't upgrade my FCP version/Mac software to anything newer on this model of MacBook, but have never had any issues exporting until this video.

Any help would be much appreciated - Thank you.

I know of only one person that frequents these discussions that can read crash logs. Hopefully he'll chime in.

Have you tried resetting FCP Preferences/Settings? Hold option and command while launching FCP, then choose Delete Preferences. FCP will then launch and open the default Untitled library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the Preferences back to way you like (disable background rendering, etc.) and see if the issue has been fixed.
