Unable to open purchased book on my iPhone

Today i bought a new book but i cannot open it. It is still showing the buy button even after the purchase.

How do I get the iPhone books app fixed or back to how it was before the update? I hate the new Apple Books update on the iPhone. I contacted Apple support and got nowhere with them. They are not the ones who designed and launched the update. No more can you get definitions of words, can words be highlighted, can you read the page numbers on the bottom of the page, and the “menu” option is a waste. Why did Apple change something and make what was just fine now terrible? I’m about ready to buy a kindle and buy all my ebooks, and I buy plenty, from Amazon. Is there anyway to get Apple to fix this quickly or at least put it back the way it was?

Unable to open book on Apple Books app in my iPad. For the last month, I have intermittently not been able to open books in my library. Now I can’t at all. Most of the books no longer display their covers, now simply a solid cover with the book title. I have updated to IOS 18.3.1. I have heard that the latest few updates are the cause of the problem. Purchased book no longer available, can’t download to new iPad I purchased a book maybe a month ago on my iPhone 13. I bought a new iPad today and I cannot download the book. It doesn’t show up in my purchases. I shared the book title with myself from iPhone. When I attempt to view that in the bookstore, I get a message that the title is no longer available in my region. It is what it is, but makes me angry that I can’t read a favorite book on the iPad I bought to make reading easier.
