Someone tried signing into my Apple Account

I recently just got a new iPhone 16 on Christmas that I’m currently using to make this, but for some reason 2 times tonight someone from Chicago tried signing into my Apple Account and the second time it automatically hit Don’t Allow but I literally threatened the “potential hacker” by claiming that I would “call the cops” (this was through text). It’s very weird because i literally just got this phone and I don’t know anyone from Chicago. Not to mention that I literally live in K E N T U C K Y.

iPhone 16, iOS 18

How did you threaten them by text? What were they asking you when they texted you first?
