I bought the new IPhone 16 pro and set it up with Apple Intelligence. And it worked perfectly fine. I just now traveled to Europe for vacation and my Apple Intelligence is gone. My region is still US and all. What wrong and how do I get it back working?

From my research, I don't think it will work in the EU. It's not yet approved in the EU due to regulatory uncertainties brought about by the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
As we are all users here on this user to user only forum and not Apple Support, I'd reach out to Apple to confirm.
So I won’t have it for the whole trip? I looked at a other post and it said I won’t change when you travel.
Apple Intelligence is not yet available in the EU. Your phone knows where you are, so it likely isn't working because you are in a region which can't use it yet.
