Why are there no AI features on the iPhone 13 Pro Max?

The features in iOS will depend on the Hardware of your device. You already have Artificial Intelligence on your device, just not the features labeled as Apple Intelligence that requires an iPhone 15 Pro or newer device. For example your device has Object Detection in photos, which uses Artificial Intelligence, but that feature is not available in the iPhone X or earlier. Other Artificial Intelligence features supported on your phone include:

• Memories in Photos
• Siri Suggestions
• Map Suggestions
• Face ID
• Camera features such as Deep Fusion takes 9 shots for every photo to automatically give you the best photo and also gives you the ability to use Portrait Mode to bring close objects in focus and blur the background.
• Predictive Text when typing

You need an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or an iPhone 16 version to meet the requirements for AI.
