Dropping pictures and video to the time line works fine, However, when I press the play button it doesn't scroll through the selected material. It either shows just the first picture or the screen goes black. What I've tried is tuning it on and off. Deleting the app and reinstalling. Same result. Tried this on the iPhone same result. iMovie works on theMac. Very confusing.

Haven’t had to make a movie for a long time. Used iMovie years ago to bang something out quickly. Just committed to do it for a group project and guess what. It doesn’t work. Thanks Apple :(

I don't know when Apple might address the issue, but hopefully it will be at the next update at least.

This is absolutely unacceptable! Still no bug fix for a massive problem in one of your most important apps...
Would love to have an update on this as iMovie is part of curriculum for some students in our district!
