Weird dual sim behaviour in iPhone 13 mini

Hello,

I have an iPhone 13 mini with the latest iOS. I have two sim cards from different countries.

Recently (in order to skip having to change sim cards each time I'm abroad) I changed one of the sim cards to an esim.

When I'm in one country, I disable the other sim via the Settings.

I am now abroad (where I use the "classic" sim) and I noticed two weird things:

  1. When people call me and I don't answer, they reach a voicemail in the language of my esim.
  2. I still get sms messages for my esim number (although I cannot answer).

Why is that ?

Thanks

None of those are Apple features, report it to your sim and esim provider.
